What problems exist in Ukrainian economic and how to solve them.
Let’s describe Ukrainian economic in one phrase. It is industrial or currently preindustrial agricultural socialistic economic. Although, countries of the First World have already had postindustrial economic and they are going to informational era of economic.
What are the main wares, which our country produces? They are mainly agricultural products as corn and oil, metal, and products of chemical industry. As an uncommon side of our export is IT-product which is a creation of postindustrial economical way. As we see, Ukraine is between Victorian agricultural era and beginning of European industrialization. For this period, our economic is strong enough and incomings of Ukrainian people is pretty high. We can match current way of life of ordinary Ukrainian with way of life of ordinary citizen in Germany in the beginning of 20th century. We can see that our people live much better than ordinary European in the beginning of 20th century.
In this case, we can ask ourselves, what is problem with Ukrainian economics if our life is so good. The main problem with our economic that people want to work like in the beginning of 20th century but they want to live in 21th century. To clarify, people requirements and possibilities makes collision, which is becoming worse with socialistic and populistic politics of the government. Socialism is invention of postindustrial society when one can supply many. In preindustrial or industrial era, socialism can be built only with using slavery such as it was in the Soviet Union when villagers were linked to their villages up to 1953.
Therefore, if we want to live with way of live of 21th century we should build economic which is suitable for the 21th century. Modern economic of developed countries is oriented on the services of high technological goods. Raw goods such as food or metal are produced by the Third World countries and level of live in those courtiers is extremely low. We also know wares oriented countries as the term as “banana republic”. Unless we pass to service economic, we will be also “banana republic” but associated with European Union.
What I mean about the service economic. Any developed country doesn’t sell goods. For the instance, when you buy iPhone, you don’t buy only smartphone, you buy ability to easy take photo add to your iTines cloud storage and publish it on your Facebook without any necessity to know what smartphone is. As other example, when you buy Tesla car or Boing aircraft, you buy all support: from the maintenance to the pilot education. As well as buying of Coca-Cola or Pepsi isn’t buying of mix of phosphoric acid, sugar, caffeine and flavoring, it is a buying of a way of American life.
Significantly, this is the main problem of Ukrainian economic that we cannot pass from the goods economic to services economic. Just think how we can solve this problem in current situation. One of the solution can be producing of IT-services. Currently, it works well enough. However, everyone cannot be IT-specialist. It mostly isn’t related with mathematic skill, because school’s knowledge of algebra and planimetrics are enough, it is mostly related with patience and diligence. Other way is providing services for the people on a territory of developed countries. This could be medical tourism, because medical service in Germany or the USA can cost tens thousand euros but in Ukraine our doctors don’t earn 600.000$ in a year. For people, who don’t have medical insurance, medical service of Ukraine will be preferable. Of course, we must make all possible infrastructure for this: from the transportation to the place of accommodation. Yet one service, which is currently popular in Germany, is elderly care. Nurse in Poland fully agree to work for 1000 euro in month, therefore making elderly care house in Poland with the same service and even with knowledge of German is much cheaper than in Germany. Consequently, Poland can earn money with propositions of the elderly care services.
We have described main problem of Ukrainian economic, which consists in wares economical system. As a solution, we proposed turning to services economical system as all developed world have done.
